It's a reading error, basically the speeds must be 1900/3800 although the fan is rated at 2000 RPM. I don't think the 19000 Rpm is that dangerous for my motherboard. My 4 others fans are running between 1000 to 2800 Rpm (normal), all of my fans are VerticallyĮnabling Chassis Q Fan Control (I already tried but it just makes less noises, I think it still doing the same thing, I will try again tommorow)Įnabling Cool'N'quiet (don't seem to do anything, I might be wrong?) it just skip very fast between these 2)Ģ- Can I plug a Chassis Fan into Cpu Opt (4 pins) on the motherboard (the one close to CPU Fan) is it dangerous ?įorgot to say temp range is about 30 degrees (at start) 50 degrees (in-game)
(it not even going at 5000 Rpm or 7000 or 15000. I tried to plug in Cha Fan 1-2 but it the same resultġ- Why is the range so weird 3800/19000 Rpm in my bios? is that normal, because it seem to run fine. I plugged the 2x fans (3pins) in Cha Fan 3 and 4, which are 3 pins too.
The problem is when I look in the Bios, I can see the 2x fans running at 3800 Rpm (which is very fast) and for a second it goes up directly at 19000 Rpm and change back to 3700/3800/3900 very fast (lol?) I don't think it goes at 19000 Rpm because the fans are not that loud. Ok so I have this motherboard Asus Sabertooth 990fx and I bought 2x of these fans for my computer case CM 690 :
